The God of Thunder hits the silver screen

This Thor trailer has been going around the internet for quite some time now. A lot of great movies coming out this year 2011. Based on the comics published by Marvel, this live action version of Thor is starred by Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Stellan Skarsgard, Jaimie Alexander, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Josh Dallas, Tadanobu Asano, Idris Elba, Clark Gregg, Colm Feore and is directed by Kenneth Branagh.

The Thunder God's costume reminds me of the Ultimates version from the comics. This looks to be a promising film. The question of whether it will be as big as Iron Man or Spider-man trilogies remain to be seen.

I'll let y'all comics fans alike decide if this silver screen version of Thor will do justice of his comic book counterpart.

We'll all find out as this will be in cinemas on May 6, 2011.
